Answering the Interview Question: "What Do You Know About Our Company?"

What do you know about our company?

Nobody wants to employ someone who does not take an interest in their company and what they do. When an employer is interviewing for a suitable candidate, they want to make sure that whoever they hire will be show interest and care in what the company does and sells.

Whether it's a services based business or a company that sells products, staff who take an interest in their workplace will ultimately perform better and be more engaged at work.

Think about it. Would you hire someone who didn't bother to research about the company and show interest in what the company does? No, you probably wouldn't. It's important for anyone to enjoy where they work and find the work satisfying and enjoyable.

So, when answering this question, make sure you do as much research as you can about the company. Immerse yourself in their range of products and/or services. Think about their target market, how they are trying to market themselves and how your role will contribute value to their company and operations.
