How Many Years of Experience Should Be in My Resume?

With your resume, you’ll only need to mention 10-15 years of employment history. Not every job you have done needs to be included, especially if it is not relevant to positions that you are applying for.

Mentioning jobs that are dated more than 15 years isn’t helpful to a hiring manager, as the tools and technology could be irrelevant compared to today, which won’t support your application.

Employers are also time-limited today, keeping your experience simple and relevant can be an advantage as they are more inclined to read your resume and what you have to offer.
