Submitting your resume in a PDF format is great because it can be easily viewed on devices, such as phones and tablets, because employers are not necessarily going to be in the office during the day.

However, you will need to make sure that your resume is delivered in the format that is requested by the employer and can be viewed clearly.

Today some employers are now requesting to have your resume in a Word document format. Reasons for this can be because they want to check your spelling and grammar.
