Should I Put My Personal Interests in My CV?

Mentioning what your interests are on a resume will give an employer some insight into who you are as a person and what you enjoy outside of your professional work life.

This can help an employer understand if you are a good cultural fit.

However, most job ads do not require applicants to list personal interests on a resume. If you decide to mention your interests, ensure they are relevant to the skills and abilities you will need to perform the position.
