How can conferences be more engaging for participants?

Have you ever been to a work conference and you found it draining and not engaging at all.

So, how can conferences be more engaging for the participants who attend?

My best suggestion is to shorten the length of each presentation and to provide more breaks – 10 minutes in duration – for a quick refreshment.

Add in videos.

Have the speaker walk around and interact with the tables.

These are practical measures that can help create more engagement and involvement from the participants.
